Monograph publication on the history of the experimental traceological method in archaeology and the characteristics of modern research. At present, in connection with the widespread use of the traceological method in the practice of various archaeological research, it is necessary to characterize the theoretical foundations of the method, assess its achievements, identify controversial issues, and discuss the use of modern research methods.
For the implementation of this project, extensive cooperation is being undertaken with all actively working use-wear analysts from different countries. Work is underway with textual sources and materials stored in the archives of various institutes.
