Dynamics of the Pleistocene Palaeolithic settlement of the Mediterranean basin – D3PBM – UMR 7194/University of Ferrara (M-H. Moncel, M. Arzarello). The main objective of this project is to put the changes in human behaviour in southern Europe throughout the Pleistocene into perspective, from the first traces of human settlement more than a million years ago to the "Acheulean" and Neanderthal groups, by placing them in their environmental and chronological framework.
